& Chicken Patties With Mushroom Sauce

COOK TIME: 30 mins


  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • K&N’s stok 1-2 cubes
  • Corn starch + water (1 tbsp + 2 tbsp)
  • Parsley (chopped) as required
  • olive oil 3 tbsp
  • garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
  • onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
  • Soaked rice 2 cups
  • Water 3 cups
  • tomato paste 1/2 cup
  • sweet corn 1/2 cup
  • carrots (small cubes) 1/4 cup
  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • K&N’s stok 1-2 cubes
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Green coriander (chopped) 2 tbsp
  • K&N’s Burger Patties 1070 g 3-4
  • Mushroom Sauce as required
  • Mexican Rice as required
  • Parsley (chopped) as required


  1. In a pan heat oil and add garlic and saute until light golden brown. Add mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt and black pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add water and K&N’s stok and simmer until the stok has dissolved.
  3. Add 2 tbsp of slurry and stir continuously until thickens. Add cream and cook for 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, and cook, stirring frequently, until onions have become translucent. Add tomato sauce and cook for 3-4 minutes or until oil separates.
  5. Now add carrot, peas, corn, salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add soaked rice and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now add water, K&N’s Stok and bring it to boil. Cook until 80% water has evaporated.
  7. Simmer for 10-15 minutes and your Mexican rice is ready. garnish it with green coriander.
  8. Prepare K&N’s Burger Patties as per instructions on the pack.
  9. Transfer the prepared K&N’s Burger Patties on a plate. Drizzle Mushroom sauce over them. Serve with Mexican rice.
