& Tandoori Chicken Sandwich

  • Nutmeg powder 1 tsp
  • Dry ginger powder 1 tbsp
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Paprika powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon stick (3 inch) 3
  • Crushed dry chilies 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chicken boneless chunks 2 kg
  • Tandoori masala 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Mayo 1 cup
  • Mustard paste 1 tsp
  • Red chili sauce 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Honey 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Onions (chopped) 1 cup
  • Marinated chicken
  • Coal (for smoke)
  • Oil (for smoke) 1/2 tsp
  • Foil aluminum (for smoke)
  • Sandwich bread (as required)
  • Tandoori chicken as required
  • Mayo sauce as required
  • Cheddar cheese (shredded) as required
  • Black olives as required
  • Capsicum (chopped) as required
  • Butter (for brushing)


  1. In a blender add nutmeg powder, ginger powder, garlic powder, red chili powder, paprika powder, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks, black pepper corn, cloves, black cardamom, fennel seeds, dry chili flakes and salt. Blend well until it’s in the powder form and keep it aside.
  2. Now in a bowl, add small chicken chunks, tandoori masala and yogurt. Mix well and keep it aside for 15 mins.
  3. Now in a bowl, add mayo, mustard paste, red chili sauce, honey, black pepper powder and salt. Mix well and your sauce is ready.
  4. Now in a pan, add oil. When heated up, add chopped garlic and sauté for 1 min. Now, add the chopped onion and cook for almost 2-3 mins until translucent. Now add marinated chicken and cook for almost 8-10 mins or until the water dries.
  5. Place aluminum cup in the middle of the pan and put coal in it. Put oil on coal and cover with lid for 30 seconds. Remove the lid and your tandoori chicken is ready. Set aside.
  6. On a board, place bread slice. Spread the prepared sauce and tandoori chicken. Add shredded cheese, top with olives and capsicum and place the bread slice on top.
  7. Brush butter on bread and toast it on hot pan until both sides are equal in color.
  8. Your Cheesy Chicken Tandoori Sandwich is ready for serving.
