Ingredients
- Egg 4
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
- All-Purpose Flour (Maida) 1/2 cup
- Corn flour 1/4 cup
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Water as required
- Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
- Chili sauce 1 tbsp
- Red chili flakes 1/2 tbsp
- Water 1 cup
- Slurry (corn flour 1 tsp + water 1 tbsp)
- Salt to taste
Directions
- In a bowl add eggs, salt and black pepper powder and mix well.
- Now grease a white transparent dish with oil and pour the mixture in it. Cover with foil paper and steam for at least 15 mins and then take it off.
- Now on a board place the prepared egg dish. Cut the edges finely and place the egg on the board and cut it into fine cubes and keep it aside.
- In a bowl add flour, corn flour, red chili powder, salt, water and garlic powder and mix well.
- Now coat the cube shaped eggs in this mixture.
- Then deep fry them until they are light golden in color.
- On a pan, heat up the oil and add chopped garlic. Sauté it for a minute. Then add ketchup and mix well for 1 to 2 minutes. Now add soy sauce, chili sauce, red chili flakes, salt, water and mix well. Now add water and cook for almost 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now add the prepared eggs, onion and capsicum and mix well. Add slurry and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes while mixing constantly. Cook until you reach the desired consistency.
- Your Egg Manchurian is ready.
