& Chicken Shawarma Pizza

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour 2 cups
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Yeast 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Water as required
  • Chicken 500 g
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Oil (for cooking) 1 tbsp
  • Dried red chilies 9-10
  • Garlic (cloves) 3
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 cup
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Cream 1 cup
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Capsicum (Julienne) 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes (sliced) 1/2 cup
  • Onion (sliced) 1 cup
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar 1/2 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Pita bread as required
  • Red sauce as required
  • Shawarma white sauce as required
  • Cheddar cheese (shredded) as required
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) as required
  • Black olives (chopped) as required
  • Sweet corn as required
  • Oregano as required
  • Red chili flakes as required
  • Vinaigrette vegetables as required
  • Prepared chicken as required
  • Oil (for greasing) as required

Directions

  1. In a bowl add flour, salt, sugar, yeast and mix well, add oil and water and knead a smooth dough. Rest the dough near warm place until double in size.
  2. Now take the dough, cut into 4 equal parts and make dough balls. Roll down the dough with the help of rolling pin making pita bread.
  3. Heat a flat pan and cook your pita bread on it for 3 to 4 minutes each side on low flame until its 70% cooked. Set aside.
  4. In a bowl add chicken, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, red chili flakes, lemon juice, soy sauce, oil and mix well. Marinate for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Now in a pan heat oil and add marinated chicken. Cook until water is fully dried. Set aside.
  6. In a bowl add dried red chilies and vinegar. Soak for 30 minutes.
  7. In a blender add vinaigrette red chilies, garlic, salt, cumin powder, oil and blend well to form sauce. Your red sauce is ready.
  8. In a bowl add mayo, cream, lemon juice, salt, oregano, garlic, black pepper powder and mix well. Your shawarma white sauce is ready.
  9. In a bowl add water, vinegar, black pepper powder, onion, capsicum, tomatoes. Soak for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Take prepared pita bread, spread red sauce, top it with cheddar cheese, chicken, mozzarella cheese, vinaigrette vegetables, sweet corn, black olives, oregano, red chili flakes.
  11. Heat a flat pan and grease it with oil, place the prepared shawarma pizza on it and cover with lid. Cook on low flame until cheese melts. Take off flame and serve.
