& Chicken Gola Kabab Sizzler

Ingredients

  • Chicken mince 1 kg
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilies 1-2
  • Green coriander (chopped) 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Oil (for frying) 1/4 cup
  • Aluminium cup
  • Coal 1-2Oil (for smoke) 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Water 1/4 cup
  • Slurry (corn flour 1 tbsp + water 2 tbsp)
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Onion (cube cut) 1/2 cup
  • Capsicum (cube cut) 1/2 cup
  • Carrot (cube cut) 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes (cube cut) 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • Butter (for greasing) as required
  • Onion (thinly slices) as required
  • Boiled rice as required
  • Sauteed vegetables
  • Gola kabab
  • Prepared Sauce

Directions

  1. In a bowl add chicken mince, Kashmiri red chili powder, roasted cumin seeds, red chili powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, salt, chaat masala, ginger garlic paste, onion, green chilies, coriander, lemon juice and mix well. Refrigerate the mixture for 3-4 hours.
  2. Take skewers and thread kabab mince on it and make round kabab.
  3. In a frying pan heat oil and cook kabab from each side for 5-6 minutes or until fully cooked.
  4. Place a coal in aluminium cup in the center of pan, add few drops of oil and cover the pan with lid. Let it smoke for 2-3 minutes. Remove the coal and set kabab aside.
  5. In a pan heat oil and add garlic, cook for 2-3 minutes. Now add chili sauce, ketchup, salt, black pepper powder, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, water and bring it to boil. Now add slurry and cook until thick in consistency. Your sauce is ready.
  6. In a pan heat oil and add onion, carrot, capsicum, tomatoes, salt, black pepper powder and cook for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
  7. Heat sizzler plate for a minute, grease it with butter and add onion. Now add sauteed vegetables, gola kabab, drizzle sauce on top and your gola kabab sizzler is ready. Serve with boiled rice.
