Position description

American Leadership Initiative (ALI) and Fontheim International, LLC (FI) seek a shared, part-time associate to help with administrative tasks, research, and website/social media. The ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, motivated to learn and grow, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities

Perform administrative and management tasks related to clients, nonprofit activities, and internal shared needs of the team, including but not limited to:

  • Schedule and program management     
  • Note-taking
  • Preparing paperwork and other requisite items for meetings
  • Updating websites and drafting content for social media platforms        
  • Tracking event RSVPs      
  • Drafting and sending mass email communications 
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records 
  • Research and policy analysis
  • Logistical support for travel, events, and meetings


  • Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and organizational skills     
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a team environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to respond flexibly to unanticipated requests and assignments 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience providing administrative support to executives in a fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate social responsibility or public policy

Salary commensurate with experience.
